Brio Leisure is a Community Interest Company which was created in May 2011. It is wholly owned by Cheshire West and Chester Council and the objects of the company are to carry out activities that benefit all the inhabitants of Cheshire West and Chester, as well as those visiting the county and those living or working outside the area. Currently, this includes the provision of leisure centres, entertainment halls, playing pitches, health and social services, and the promotion of integrated wellness programmes, including weight management, physical activity and smoking cessation. The intention is to improve the general wellbeing of the people living in and visiting the area, and to provide improved opportunities for all those in the area with affordable, accessible and fit-for-purpose recreational and social facilities.
Partnering with Proinsight, a leader in providing insight into leisure and fitness sector, Brio Leisure has introduced a programme of mystery shops in its seven leisure centres to measure and further enhance its customer experience.
