Representatives from Proinsight recently attended the ukactive National Summit 2014, an exciting event bringing together leading individuals from a variety of sectors to discuss the national issue of physical inactivity. RT Hon Andy Burnham MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Health, was foremost among the speakers, and used the Summit to announce a “physical activity revolution” which would be “at the heart” of the Labour Party’s General Election strategy. David Stalker, CEO of ukactive, stated that the day showed that “we’ve come a long way”, but that it is “equally clear that we have a long way to go”. David Hopkins, Managing Director of Proinsight, and Anna Marangi, Head of Client Services and Research, found the event an enlightening experience, with Anna saying that the day was “very interesting and thought provoking”. We look forward to seeing the positive changes that come from this event.
