Proinsight has contributed an article to the latest edition of Health Club Management digital magazine. In the February 2016 issue, Executive Director Mhairi Fitzpatrick and Managing Director David Hopkins outline the findings of new research into sales performance across the health and fitness sector, in an article entitled “Can your staff sell?”.
The article serves as a great opportunity for Proinsight to share our findings from our 2015 Benchmark Sales Report, which measured over 20,000 mystery shop metrics from more than 500 UK health club locations to analyse how effectively health clubs sell memberships and how different sectors in the leisure industry compare. The compelling findings include the fact that only 60% of prospects are being asked for their contact details and 56% are asked if they would like to join the club or leisure centre.
