Celtic Leisure was established in April 2003 to manage leisure facilities within the Borough of Neath Port Talbot. As well as managing six sports venues, Celtic Leisure operates a Theatre / Cinema and employs some 200 staff on a permanent basis and approximately double that during peak periods.
Customer focused and accessible leisure centres provide a wide variety of services including fitness classes, fitness suites, weights rooms, swimming pools, racquet sports, outdoor team sports and a health suite to suit all ages and abilities. The Gwyn Hall boasts a 393-seat theatre which offers an excellent and varied programme including music to suit all tastes, theatre, children’s shows, aerial theatre and dance. It is also in regular use as a first release cinema showing the latest films on its main screen as well as the hugely popular National Theatre Live and Bolshoi Ballet screenings.
Celtic Leisure’s Vision Statements are: “To Make Neath Port Talbot the Most Active Borough in Wales” and “For the Delivery of Exceptional Theatrical, Cinematic and Participatory Experiences”. Following their dedication to excellent customer service, Celtic Leisure management has appointed Proinsight to provide a full annual programme of mystery shops across the whole estate.
